What is Slopes & Trails about?
Slopes and Trails is a member-driven social activities group for mature, active adults. Our members come from all over the Rogue Valley and beyond. With events planned throughout the week, members can pick and choose interesting things to do with like-minded people.

Happy Hour

One of our regular events is the weekly Happy Hour. Usually on Fridays, and sometimes Thursdays, members meet at a local bistro, winery, or pub to celebrate the week, chat with old friends and meet new ones.  Greeters assure newcomers of a warm welcome.  A list of our upcoming venues and times are below.


Membership Application

Membership is inexpensive;

New member dues are only $52 per person, per year, and include a magnetic name badge.  Memberships renew at $40 per person per year.

Once you become a member, you will be able to log-in and access details of upcoming club activities.

The very best way to meet new friends is to participate in the activities and/or sponsor an activity.

    Let's Hike Roxie Ann trails (Prescott Park) in Medford. It will be a moderate hike of about 4 miles on the Green Horn and Oak Trails, including some of the Ring Road.  There are some great views of the valley the Roxy offers a nice work out on the steeper trails. 

    We will meet at the second gate parking area and begin the hike at 8 a.m. sharp.  

    No dogs please.

    Easy / Moderate Hike

    Daryl Knowles has offered to lead this Sunday, June 29 hike. Dogs will be allowed, but must remain on a leash at all times. The OnX summary reads:This is an easy 7 mile out and back hike along the shore of Howard Prairie Lake starting and Grizzly County Campground Day Use Area and turns around at Willow Point. Stunning views of the surrounding mountains and a great opportunity to see birds, wildflowers and wildlife. 

    Details:

    Any Slopes member or non-member can join this hike if this is within your skill range.  A shuttle to Willow Point can be arranged for anyone looking for a shorter hike - just let Robin know before the start of the hike.  A Jackson County Park Pass is needed to park at the park.  A day pass can be purchased at the kiosk at the park for $6.00

    The hike time and other details, such as carpooling suggestions, will be sent out before the hike TO THOSE THAT HAVE REGISTERED, and will be based on the weather forecast. If you are not a member, either have a member that is also participating add you as their guest, or contact Daryl directly.
